SENIOR PROGRAMMER ANALYST
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Senior Programmer Analyst’s role is to define, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new and current software applications in support of the achievement of business requirements. This includes writing, coding, testing, and analyzing software programs and applications. The Senior Programmer Analyst will also research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle. Conduct requirements gathering meetings and produce technical and business documentation. Conducts project meetings and coordinates project timeline and resource
requirements.
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Must have 5+ years of experience working in distribution and/or manufacturing environment: specifically inventory management, sales order processing, purchase order processing, Accounts Payable/Receivable, general accounting
• 3-5 years of experience in project design and implementation.
• Project management experience and ability to conduct business meetings
• Experience in creating technical documentation and user-based training documents
• Proven business analysis skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• 2-3 years of experience working and developing in JD Edwards World 7.3. Complete understanding of JD Edwards programming standards, naming conventions, development tools, and business modules
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
• RPG III programming
• Sequel Programming
• MS Office 2003/7 applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)
• MS Project 2003/7
• JD Edwards World A7.3
