2016/06/28Shimano goes direct to Polish dealers

Shimano announced today its intention to further develop its recently expanded Bike division distribution center in Poznan, Poland, to include also Fishing tackle products for Polish market.

Following this decision, Polish bike components and fishing tackle distribution will be combined and distributed from the Poznan distribution center under one organization, effective from February 1st 2017. Until this date Normark Polska continues to sell Shimano fishing tackle products to Polish dealers on exclusive basis.

For the past 14 years Shimano has enjoyed a successful partnership with Normark Polska. This move to a direct distribution arrangement will mean a change to current operations model for both companies. Despite of this change, both companies are committed to continue delivering superior service to Polish customers.
