TOURNEY, a derailleur released in 1971, was mainly deployed into the U.S. mass market. However, it was once discontinued due to product rollout based on the Concept of System Components, which was epitomized with the later DURA-ACE. In 1986, TOURNEY made a return as sports bike components group for entry-level riders. Shimano is continuing to offer a broad lineup of high-quality and low-priced products so that more entry-level riders can enjoy riding bicycles safely and securely.
