On December 21, 2023, Shimano Kunshan invited 29 elementary school students from Kunshan city to participate in the School-Enterprise Cooperation initiative, which has been ongoing since 2014 to help children develop an interest in cycling and fishing, and Shimano has been holding a variety of classes to help children discover the enjoyment of cycling and
fishing, and to expose them to Shimano's corporate culture. In addition to learning about bicycle parts, fishing rods, and other products, they also have the opportunity to actually experience cycling and fishing.
In the safety education, participants learn about the safety risks associated with each machine in a simulated facility equipped with machines used in actual manufacturing sites. Shimano Kunshan will continue to provide learning opportunities for children.
