2024/11/22Evacuation Drill at Shimano Headquarters

On November 13, 2024, an evacuation drill was conducted at Shimano headquarters, simulating a major earthquake and fire. After receiving an earthquake and fire alarm, the employees evacuated to a designated location, and then received training on how to use water extinguishers, fire hydrant hoses, and stretchers. Through this drill, each employee experienced the actions they should take in the event of a real earthquake and worked on establishing and improving the series of procedures, including the evacuation routes at Shimano headquarters.
