2025/1/21Shimano Racing Visits an Elementary School to Give an Interactive Lecture

On December 13, 2024, Shimano Racing, the cycling team, presented the “Let’s touch and feel a road bike!” lecture at an elementary school in Sakai City, Osaka. The lecture includes a look at the history of Sakai from the perspective of the bicycle industry, the chance to see and touch a racing road bike, and an explanation of how to ride a bicycle safely. Participants deepen their learning by interacting with the director and riders of Shimano Racing.
This lecture began in 2016, and since 2022, it has been held as part of the Sakai city’s Program for Learning Support from Companies. Shimano will continue to work to promote bicycle culture as well as share the charm of Sakai, the birthplace of Shimano.
