Shimano actively engages in community cleanup activities.
On April 5, Shimano Headquarters carried out a volunteer activity called the “Sakaihama Nature Restoration Beach Cleanup.” A total of 111 participants, including Shimano Group employees and their families, took part and collected trash along the beach.
Also, on April 22, which is “Earth Day” proposed by UNESCO, Shimano Canada conducted a trail cleanup near its office. Employees picked up trash that had accumulated over the winter and collected more than 30 bags of trash.
We will continue our community cleanup efforts to help build a beautiful and healthy global environment.
