2026/1/30Shimano Racing Visits an Elementary School to Give an Interactive Lecture

On October 29, 2025, the cycling team Shimano Racing held an outreach class titled “Let’s touch and feel a road bike!” at an elementary school in Sakai, Osaka Prefecture.
The class introduced the history of Sakai’s bicycle industry, provided hands on experience with racing road bikes, and taught safe riding practices. It also deepened understanding through interactions with the team’s director and riders. This program began in 2016 and has been conducted since 2022 as part of the Sakai city’s Program for Learning Support from Companies. Shimano will continue to promote bicycle culture and share the charm of Sakai, the company’s birthplace.
