Shimano Forest Initiative Through Partnership with Treedom

Shimano Europe has partnered with Treedom, an online platform that enables tree planting and tracking worldwide, to establish Shimano Forest since 2021. Customers can choose to plant a tree through Shimano Gearshop purchases, creating a connection between cycling and environmental stewardship. Each tree is geolocated, photographed, and linked to an online page for transparency.
The initiative focuses on supporting agroforestry projects that improve biodiversity and provide economic opportunities for local farmers. To date, over 8,200 trees have been planted across nine countries, including Madagascar, Guatemala, and Kenya, contributing to CO₂ absorption and soil health. This collaboration emphasizes practical steps toward long-term sustainability and community benefits.
